ANTI-FOG COATING

POLISILOXANE COATING

This is a high gloss very hard coating, with anti-scratch properties on a par with standard silicon hard coat.
The coating performance should not degrade over time, providing the lens is not washed in water. 
A few cleanings with a damp cloth is ok, but submerging in water for longer than 5-10 mins or repeated washes under a faucet will degrade and finally kill the AF property. The anti-scratch property of the lens is not affected by water. The lens can be cleaned with most well known lens cleaners (sprays, wet wipes) that are available today on the market .

  *Both coating are anti-static, a major benefit. Standard uncoated or hardcoated lens, suffer from static build up, which attracts dust onto the lens. Then when the lens is wiped the dust is rubbed into the lens and scratches it. This does not happen with our AF coated lens .
